The recent cool, very wet weather has slowed down the growth in the vineyards, and that is a good thing. We had a warm, dry, early spring, and bud break came about 3 weeks earlier than usual. We were looking at problems in August and later if that weather pattern had continued. Now, the vineyards in the Willamette Valley are on a more normal growth cycle - and our beautiful clear skies are back!
